Spartan Doors was recently involved in a project where we delivered custom ballistic doors alongside a frame to complete the customers’ door system. This door system was shipped from our location in Kurri Kurri, New South Wales to the customer also in New South Wales but towards the coast. This project is yet another example of the work we do as a result of our expert sales and manufacturing team!
Project Specifications
As mentioned, this project required not only a custom ballistic door but also a frame to make the door system complete. Some of the door specifications included:
- Custom sizing – up to 2400mm H x 1200mm W
- Metal cladding
- Sheeting with capping
- Stainless steel
Additionally, some of the pressed metal door frame specifications included:
- Custom sizing (H, W, and T)
- Custom rebate profile
- Constructed of stainless steel
Project Challenges
This project was another opportunity for Spartan Doors to deliver a product that exceeded the customer’s expectations. This began with our Sales Team talking to the customer about what they needed to achieve their desired outcome. From this project, there was a lot to learn and an opportunity to improve for a lot of our internal stakeholders but most importantly the customer received an exceptional product!
