Our team understand the efforts and costs involved with preparing and fitting doors. This is why our goal is to make purchasing and fitting a door quick and easy. We’ve widened our production capabilities to ensure we translate the benefits of cutting-edge technology and efficient processes to you. Our range of InstallReady Doors are fully profiled and painted, and ready for on-site installation. We even attach door leaves straight to their new frame. We estimate this new DIY-friendly line will reduce customer installation time by 95%.
How do we make InstallReady Doors?
As the name suggests, InstallReady doors arrive on-site ready to fit. We use digitalised measuring technology to accurately measure your on-site frame, which is the basis for the door’s dimensions. We transform these measurements into a file and upload it into one of our computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
From here, the CNC machine cuts and profiles your door perfectly square, while using a range of tooling to prepare cutouts and grooves for hardware installation like hinges and mortice locks. The team then paints the door in your specified colour.
This process is faster, more accurate and cheaper than traditionally hiring a carpenter or door fitter to profile and paint your door on-site. Spartan Doors InstallReady doors consist of two primary components.
Profiling capabilities:
Spartan Doors off-site profiling takes the time and messes out of door hanging. Cutouts are completed during the manufacturing process, ensuring perfect hardware preparation on every door. Our capabilities in regards to profiling include;
- Lock & mortice lock preparations
- Bottom & perimeter seal rebates
- Reed switch and power transfer routing
- Face recessing for door protection and kick plates
- Concealed closer prep
Range of InstallReady doors:
We offer InstallReady for all Fire, Flush and Acoustic doors. We offer our standard cores, thicknesses, dimensions and finishes for all InstallReady doors. For more information on this, please read our 2021 Spartan Doors Catalogue.
We manufacture InstallReady doors for residential and commercial applications. More specialised lines like security and bulletproof doors are not able to be made InstallReady due to their complex manufacturing process and features. We are continually searching for ways to expand the InstallReady range.
How to order – fully profiled doors:
Provide details of the hardware including the brand, model and type of hardware that will be fitted to the door so we can ensure that we profile the door correctly for installing your hardware.
If you have a hardware schedule:
- Attach a copy of your hardware schedule with the order, and ensure you indicate which hardware profiling you require if you are not intending to have them all done.
Ordering retrofit profiled doors:
- You will need to provide details of the positioning of the hardware – measuring guides are available in our order forms.
- Provide details of the hardware including the brand, model and type of hardware that will be fitted to the door so we can ensure that we profile the door correctly for installing your hardware.
How to order – finishing and painting:
Paint matching:
- Scan your door if you want colour matched with a colour muse device.
- Copy the paint code into the order form or attach a screenshot of the QR Code from the colour muse, or
- Manually match your colour using a colour chart.
- Provide the colour name and brand with your order.
New colour:
- Choose your colour from any major paint brand such as Dulux, Taubmans or British Paints.
- Provide the paint name and manufacturer or the paint code supplied by the manufacturer.
