Spartan Doors recently manufactured and delivered dozens of acoustic doors, double doors, frames and a double door lock set for a noise control specialist. The Western Australian project required a full package of doors, double door lock sets and metal frames which included metal cladding, door seals and hardware.
Double Door Lock Set Package
The acoustic doors were rated to RW44, 73mm thick and included bottom rebates and hardboard finish. Becauser we specialise in manufacturing acoustic doors for schools, work places and construction projects this was a simple request. The double door sets included rebated meeting stiles, steel cladding, closers and levers, seal fitted and the pairs were also pre hung in PMDF. The metal cladding supplied was capped and applied to both faces with Zincanneal 0.9mm material.
The hardware included stainless mortice locks, extention rods, Keyed Alike and heavy duty hinges to suit single doors (3mm thick stainless steel) to total five hinges per door panel.
The double door acoustic product was rated to RW42, with a thickness of 73mm and also included bottom rebates and hardboard finish. The double door lock set required a rebated meeting stile.
Dozens of pressed metal acoustic door frames were constructed from 1.9mm Zincanneal material, a full 0.4mm thicker than originally thought. It had to be backfilled with mortar on-site meaning the throat size could not exceed 150mm. Other features included a 30mmx 30mm RHS bar welded to the bottom centre of each frame
