Spartan Doors has recently won a job that consists of a 200 Room Accommodation Camp requiring door and frames located at Wellcamp Toowoomba QLD. This project is quite large and requires 192 x Split Frames, 200 x External Solid Core Doors and 200x Internal Hollow Core doors.
The Solid Core doors are 2040×920 x 40mm and have a finish of 3.2mm HMR XP, this finish allows these doors to be used externally without any issues being in the sunlight or moisture damage.
The Hollow Core Doors are 2040×820 x 40mm and have a finish of 4.75mm MDF Board Finish, this finish allows these doors to be utlised internally as the finish is not sun or water resistant.
The Split Frames are 2040×920, these Frames are made out of 1.5mm Zincanneal. All materials used for these doors and frames are are durable in all environments, which will assist with the outdoor conditions.
This project is underway, so to assist with the installation and production in the Warehouse the sales order will be split up into five deliveries over a 3 month period, this delivery method has been suggested by project manager and site manager, to elevate having any extra door and frames onsite than needed.
With recent supply and freight issues, we are all facing in Australia it has been tricky to stick to the project delivery dates. Communicating to all team members with any variations to supplies as such we have been able to stick to most planned delivery dates. We haven’t worked with this customer before, so this looks to be the start of a great working relationship. Winning this project shows no project is too big or too small for Spartan Doors, as we work well and calibrate with the site teams to elevate any issues throughout the project.
