Here’s a shipment of hardwood timber door jambs for a school construction project in Queensland. These timber door frames are made from a solid piece of high-quality hardwood using our state-of-the-art spindle moulder at the hands of some of our talented machinists.
They are not glued or nailed together from separate pieces of timber so they are much stronger. As you may suspect this strength comes from the integrity of the hardwood staying ‘intact’ by cutting out the indents rather than glueing pieces together to make the indents. At Spartan Doors in recent times we have promoted the use of this method as we have the machining capability and know-how.
