Spartan Doors recently supplied a double door set sheeted externally and capped. External doors can be subject to damage, whether that be deliberate, accidental or from extreme weather events. In order to mitigate this, Spartan Doors can offer a Sheeting and Capping option on our double door sets, allowing us to externally clad the door in a variety of options such as Colorbond, Zincanneal, Galvabond or Stainless Steel.
The main benefit of sheeting and capping a double door set in steel is it increases the door’s resistance to damage from potential intruders and weather/ water damage. Normally, you will find these sheeted and capped doors on Electrical Switchrooms, Supermarkets, Emergency Exits and Security Doors. We recently provided a Sheeted and Capped Double Door and Frame for a local Woolworths, with excellent feedback on the quality of the products.
